This season only! Taiwan International Balloon Fiesta is a must-go this summer.
This year the fiesta will be held from June 27th until August 9th at Luye Gaotai, Taitung.

[LightScribe Concert]
There are a variety of activities in the Balloon Fiesta. In particular, the LightScribe weekend concert which is held in seven weekends is one of the highlights of all the activities.
There will be seven LightScribe concerts this year; despite the opening and closing hot-air balloon LightScribe concerts which will be held in Luye Gaotai, the remaining five will light up all the way through Taitung County, with the first cooperation of the urban area, the South and the East Coast.

Train: destination- Luye Railway Station
Visitors can take a train of Taiwan Railway Administration to Luyeh Railway Station, then take a shuttle bus of East Rift Valley Line to Luye Gaotai venue.
* location of the East Rift Valley Line stop sign at Luye Railway Station: After you are out of the Luye Railway Station, walk along Zhongzheng Road for about three minutes.
Bus: destination- Luye Gaotai (East Station)
The Intercity buses in Luyeh area consists mainly of Ding Dong Intercity Bus (Mountain Line) and East Rift Valley Line,
among which only East Rift Valley Line gives passengers a ride straight to Luye Gaotai venue.
By car:
1.National Highway No. 5: Go through National Highway No. 1 (Sun Yat-Sen Expressway) to Xizhi System Interchange, shift to National Highway No. 5 (Taipei-Ilan highway), go though Hsuehshan Tunnel and through Suao Interchange towards Tai Geng No. 9. After arriving Taitung City, follow the signs to Gaotai.
2.National Highway No. 5: Go through National Highway No. 3 (Second Highway) to Nangang System Interchange, shift to National Highway No. 5 (Taipei-Ilan highway), go though Hsuehshan Tunnel and through Suao Interchange towards Tai Geng No. 9. After arriving Taitung City, follow the signs to Gaotai.

By train: Take the TRA train to Taimali Station and walk to the park.
By bus: Take Ding Dong Intercity Bus (Mountain Line) in the direction of Anshuo to Taimali Station and walk to the park.
By car:
1.South-Link Highway: Kaohsiung → Pingtung (Fangshan Township → Fenggang) → Provincial Highway No. 9 (Follow the road signs: Shihtzu Township, Pingtung County→Daren Township, Taitung County→Dawu Township→Taimali Township).
2.East Rift Valley: Hualien → Provincial Highway No. 9 (Follow the road signs: Chihshang Township, Taitung County→ Kuanshan Town→ Luyeh Township→ Beinan Township → Taimali Township).
3.East Coast: Hualien → Provincial Highway No. 11 (Follow the road signs: Bin Township, Taitung County → Cheng Kong Township → Dunghe Township → Taitung County → Taimali).

1.Set off from Taitung Train Station, walk along Jhongshan Road towards the southwest, and head for Xinsheng Road. Turn right at the intersection of Xinsheng Road, turn left at the intersection of Bo-ai Road and finally turn left at the intersection of Guilin North Road. Time needed: approximately 35 min.
